Execution

Step-by-step cues

  1. Begin in a push-up position with your hands shoulder-width apart.
  2. Shift your weight forward onto your hands, keeping your arms straight.
  3. Engage your core and lift your legs off the ground, spreading them apart into a straddle position.
  4. Maintain a straight line from your head to your toes, keeping your body parallel to the ground.
  5. Hold the position for as long as possible while maintaining proper form.
  6. Slowly lower your legs back to the ground to return to the starting position.
