Execution

Step-by-step cues

  1. Attach a straight or EZ-curl bar to the low pulley of a cable machine.
  2. Stand facing the machine with feet shoulder-width apart.
  3. Grasp the bar with an underhand grip, hands shoulder-width apart.
  4. Keep your elbows close to your torso and your back straight.
  5. Exhale and curl the bar towards your shoulders by flexing your elbows.
  6. Pause briefly at the top of the movement, ensuring maximum contraction.
  7. Inhale and slowly lower the bar back to the starting position, fully extending your arms.
