Execution

Step-by-step cues

  1. Sit on the floor with your legs extended in front of you and your hands placed on the ground beside your hips.
  2. Engage your core muscles and press your hands firmly into the ground to lift your body off the floor.
  3. Keep your legs straight and parallel to the ground, forming an 'L' shape with your body.
  4. Hold this position for as long as possible, maintaining steady breathing throughout.
  5. Lower yourself back to the starting position with control.
